Our morning sailing brought us to the famed Gironde estuary and to the town of Pauillac. Situated in the world-famous region of Médoc, this lovely village was a perfect starting point for our day's excursions that gave us the opportunity to sample some of the fabulous red wines of this area.
On the way we saw fishing camps along the river, gorgeous homes, and had another wine lecture by the Sbragias.

Our afternoon took us into the Médoc region to taste some of the world's finest Bordeaux wines- those made especially from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grape varietals. Exploring the roads of the vineyards we saw the most beautiful and renown estates such as Château LaTour, Château Mouton-Rothschild, Château Lafitte Rothschild, Château Margaux, and Château Pichon Longueville Baron. We visited some of their cellars and tasted their Grand Cru Classe wines.
