Bordeaux is a breathtaking capital city of the wine world, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is also classified as a "City of Art and History". It's known for its Gothic Cathedral St.-André, as well, as it many fine and contemporary art museums and 18th and 19th-century mansions. Public gardens line the curving river quays and the grand Place de la Bourse opens to the water with the Three Graces fountain at it center.

There's so much more to show and tell! The next blog will be about where we ate and the wine we drank.
