Ready for the Wine Auction?

I'm pretty darn excited about this upcoming weekend! The American Heart Association is proudly presenting "Cotes du Coeur", an international fine wine auction and celebrity chef dinner. It will be hosted in the Chantilly Ballroom at the Hilton Anatole. There will be a silent auction, celebrity chefs and featured winery stations, a live auction and an after party. We are so lucky to be invited to a champagne party before the gala. Of course, this is a black tie event! So that prompted me to buy a new cocktail dress that would be perfect for this occasion. I logged onto the internet to my three favorite sites and came up with this dress! The designer is Lotusgrace, and it's the right color when thinking about the heart and red wine!

Thank goodness I had shoes for the dress. But I have to have a clutch! That means I need to shop quickly before this Saturday night.

Schweiger Vineyards

 Schweiger is the one of featured wineries we happened upon while driving between Sonoma and Napa last summer. It is a hidden jewel! Great people, wonderful wines, beautiful property and very boutique! I'll let you know after the gala what wines we won at the auction!
