#Seghesio #Winecation June 22 Almost Over!

Seghesio Family Vineyards is a place that Don has wanted to take me since 2009. But every time we arrive there, they are either closed (our fault-we get there at closing time) or they are having an event for their club members (which is very nice annual event)!

This bottle of Arneis ($22) is the whole reason why we went here. Don has wanted me to taste this for four years. Well, finally I had the pleasure of tasting this crisp, fruity wonderful wine. We bought some and drank it while in Sonoma.
Of course, we had to try the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon ($30) for members only. We bought this one too!

This 2006 Defiant ($40) is a red wine blend of Aglianico, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Very, very nice!

This 2010 Marian's Reserve ($42) is an excellent Zinfandel for members only. It is equal parts of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Carignane. When Seghesio first released their wines in 1983, this was named in honor of Ed's wife, Fay Marian. How sweet!

Visit Seghesio Family Vineyards in Healdsburg the next time you are there. It's not in the town square, but you can find it. Just ask!

Enjoy!
