#VinoMuscardini Muscardini Cellars #Kenwood #California #Winecation Last evening in CA

Muscardini Cellars is this quintessential red schoolhouse building right on Sonoma Highway in Kenwood. It just so happened to be right down the road from where we stayed in Kenwood. Our last evening we were looking for a place to get food for a take-out dinner, but stopped here for one last tasting.

Inside the building, everything is red with hand-drawn pencils in different positions with a description of each. Click on each picture to read the descriptions.

Something I need to do with the thousands of corks we have collected!

 Love their  large sign!

Here's what we tasted as they were closing the doors! This is a sparkling wine!

Here's what we bought. A 2010 Rancho Salina ($59) is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. It is definitely one I will return to buy again! Buy it online by clicking on the name.

This is a private tasting area in the building. Notice the pencils on the table! Being a teacher for 32 years, I loved this place. Pencils everywhere!

Visit this tasting room when your in Kenwood, CA.
